Dear Parent/Guardian:

 

I would like to take this moment to welcome you and your child to Johnson Middle School for the 2024–2025 school year!

 

It is with great pleasure that I inform you that Johnson is a Title I school for the 2024-2025 school year.  Because 40% or more of our school population is eligible for free and reduced meals, we are eligible to receive additional federal funding to help provide our school with professional development, parent involvement activities, and other academic programming designed to help your child succeed in school this year.

 

Being a parent at a Title I School is a great privilege and responsibility.  We need the support from our parents to ensure our students reach their full academic potential.  We hope you will consider taking an active role in our school—reach out to your child’s teacher(s) regularly, attend or volunteer at school activities, and help guide our school policies.

 

We had our annual meeting during Back to School Night and at our Summer Family CSC input session.  We encourage you to join us at our Monthly Parent Chat and Chews for updates.
