JMS Homecoming: A New Era of Panther Pride

JMS Homecoming: A New Era of Panther Pride

Dear Johnson Middle School Community,

As our Homecoming Week: A New Era comes to a close, I could not be prouder of our Panthers and the incredible energy that filled our halls, classrooms, and fields. This year’s celebration was more than a spirit week; it was a reflection of who we are becoming together as a community. Our students showed up with pride, creativity, and joy, and our staff modeled the unity and excellence that make Johnson truly legendary.

Throughout the week, we celebrated what it means to be part of One Band. One Sound. One Johnson. From Pajama Day to Team Spirit Friday, every event captured the rhythm of belonging that defines our school. Our pep rally, performances, and athletic showcases reminded us that when Panthers come together, we create something unforgettable.

This year, we also took intentional steps to ensure a safe, structured, and positive experience for all students. Thanks to the support of our staff, Deans, and security team, every event ran smoothly, and our students were able to celebrate in an environment rooted in pride and respect.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this week possible. Thank you to our teachers and staff for your leadership and flexibility, to our families for your continued partnership, and to our students for bringing your full selves to each moment. A special thank you to Ms. Cobb, our Student Experience Coordinator, for bringing the vision to life and creating an unforgettable Homecoming experience for our school community.

Homecoming reminded us that Johnson is not just a school; it is a family. Together, we continue to rise stronger, prouder, and more united than ever.

With Panther Pride,
